I am excited to announce my partnership with CrossFit & Greg Ryan

  CrossFit is a strength and conditioning system developed by Coach Greg Glassman through many years of watching, working with, and coaching all types of people-from those considered "normal and average," to top athletes. He wanted functional movements that got great results. CrossFit is what evolved and remains the most effective fitness and conditioning system in the world.

CrossFit is a fitness program focused on maximizing a persons potential in strength, cardiovascular endurance, power, speed, stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, agility, and all-around athleticism. By constantly using varied, functional movements executed at high intensity, physical fitness is dramatically improved. The program encompasses the standards you would expect: weightlifting, body weight exercises, and traditional cardio. But the magic of CrossFit also calls for Olympic lifting, climbing, throwing, tumbling, kettlebell swings, push ups, pull ups, box jumps, sit ups, resistance training with non-traditional tools, running, and much more, taxing both the aerobic and anaerobic systems. Isolation movements have no real place in CrossFit. Instead, the focus is on whole body, functional movements patterns.

Everyone can do CrossFit as it is entirely scalable, but it truly is hard work. Weights, reps, times, etc. can be reduced or increased to tailor the needs of many fitness levels. There is no magazine reading while pedaling a stationary bike. Those who thrive at CrossFit are committed to hard work, consistency, willing to try, and eager for challenge. Rarely will you ever do the same workout twice, as each day is different. Classes are formatted in small group sessions throughout the day. The group does a WOD (Workout of the Day) together. Some workouts are done for time, others for maximum reps; either way, you'll be guaranteed a challenging workout. Because the workout is rarely longer than 45 minutes, it can easily fit into the busiest of schedules. Most importantly, it is effective and fun! You will not get bored at CrossFit!

CrossFit offers an introductory class at no charge to see if the workouts are right for you. CrossFit is not about the short, quick fix. You'll get so much more out of it than a normal workout. More results than you'd ever expect. CrossFit has people of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and backgrounds; cancer survivors, soccer moms, top athletes, grandmoms-it's for everybody. It's simply the best program we've found. The best way to find out if its right for you is to just do it. We just want to show you what its all about.
